Kartel was born on November 17th, 1988 in Masajja- Wakiso, Uganda, Kartel was born to parents Florence Nanfuka and Alex Lugwana and hails from a Muslim family. Prior to this, he is a sibling to Puerto Rican half-sisters with whom he used to exchange music files.
